This week was good. Let me tell ya about it.  So, I've been trying harder to have the spirit more in lessons but also pointing it out to our friends when we feel it so they know that the warm in their chest isn't from the spicy food they ate, it's the spirit. It’s been amazing as we do that I, myself, have notice the spirit in lessons more and had some great lessons.  One being an opportunity we had to share our personal conversions to the Book of Mormon with a friend and talking about how it changed our lives and that's why we left EVERYTHING to come here, learn a new language, eat different foods, learn a new culture, to help everyone know this book! It was an amazing lesson and it ended with our friend saying she knows this book has a lot of truth in it and wanting to learn more!  We also had a jealous husband...that same friend from the story above, the next day we went by to say hi and she was on the phone with her husband and said "hey I got to go, my 2 white...

I think it was a great week...let me tell ya about it...?  Talked to a voodoo dude and asked some questions here's how it went: **So you believe in Jesus Christ and God?  - yes they are very important. I read the Bible daily  **okay...and you do sacrifices...why?  - well my dad did them, so did my grandpa and my great grandpa. So I'm on earth to do them. ** ok...why? What's the significance behind it?  - well actually I dont know...I just do them. **huh that's weird. Good week, let me tell ya about it!  So, this week was pretty normal. Went and found a ton and had some good lessons! Then, Saturday we had zone conference and it was pretty good! Learned how to actually work with facebook cordons and such things. President talked a lot about the family and why it’s important and why we need to talk about the blessings of eternal families much as we can. We also dedicated a bottle of olive oil for blessings during conference, it was pretty lit!  Before conference they sent out three questions for us to prepare 2 minutes talks about for conference. Well, I only did two out of the three...forgot to prepare the third. Then, i made the mistake of telling the APs that. They were drawing names at random for each question. When it got to the third one he chose the paper, opened it, looked straight and me with a twinkle in his eye and said “Elder McKee." He said he actually chose me but I don't believe him! I was able to give a short talk about it but...

Hey yall good week...lets talk about it  This week, as I'm sure many of you knew, was General Conference, which is a lot more exciting as a missionary if you ask me! So, this last week we ran all over inviting everyone to church and explaining the leadership of the church and the importance of it and all the good stuff to get everyone ready…Saturday evening at 5 (when we watch Saturday morning session) and one friend came, but she came with a member! It was someone we contacted then a few days later she met this member, unknowing it was a member, and talked about the two yovos who gave her a book and helped her with the water and invited her to come watch something on TV. The member then said "oh yeah, Elder M.c.keh and his companion? They are the missionaries for the church I'm apart of!" (she doesn't know Barnes to well) and then they came together, so that was awesome!  During conference I had an old Hymn book and the hard covers were both gone so you could rol...
