No idea what happened this week.
I think it was a great week...let me tell ya about it...?
Talked to a voodoo dude and asked some questions here's how it went:
**So you believe in Jesus Christ and God?
- yes they are very important. I read the Bible daily
**okay...and you do sacrifices...why?
- well my dad did them, so did my grandpa and my great grandpa. So I'm on earth to do them.
** ok...why? What's the significance behind it?
- well actually I dont know...I just do them.
**huh that's weird. And the god dude that hits people with a stick...why does he do that?
-yeah i also dont know why he just does...just gotta give him money.
** ok so you don't know your religion...thank you!
A pretty weird conversation if you ask me. haha that dude was so weird.
We walked past a school as it got out, safe to say we got bombarded by children for a good mile and through some rendezvous
I'm learning pork and cheese (Portuguese)
Yesterday I made peanut sauce all by myself and some fufu, both were very delicious and even had some today! I'll make a how to video next week! We are doing fufu Sundays.
So, this last week I read all of Alma in like 4 days. Something I love, and I believe i talked about it last year, was how much Captian Moroni prepared his cities for the war. Before the danger came he was fortified and ready for it, now this is war point of view but I'd like to look at it in a gospel point of view. Are we spiritually preparing ourselves right now for difficulties that are going to come? My dad wrote a letter for me and in that letter said "when things are easy, buckle up and get ready that usually means hard times are coming, and while in hard times keep pushing cause the best times are coming right after!” So, before the war happens and life is easy, let's get ready, buckle up and fortify ourselves for the hard times that are coming!
Love you all! Have a great week and BUCKLE UP!
-love
