La Vie Est Belle Quoi

This last week was pretty good! 


- had a meet and greet with the new president and his wife! They are awesome, super cool and super excited to be here. I'm excited for what they will do here in Benin! 

- had MLC and it was super cool and we all shared great ideas for the mission and came up with a good plan for the next few weeks! We even got to watch a talk Elder Kearon gave during the training for mission leaders, such as great talk. 

- been seeing miracles here in Gbegamey and was able to fix a baptismal date for a friend and have a few more we could potentially plan here in the near future! 

- we have a super cool friend names Yannick. He's super interested and loves the Book of Mormon but is really going through the mud. He said he is in need of some serious help and he knows the Book of Mormon can give that to him, please pray for him that he will be able to feel the love of God and see miracles in his life! 

- had interviews with President Osborne yesterday and it was super cool. Talked about how to keep the spirit with us even after the mission and how to blow up the mission for the last little bit!  

- celebrated the 4th by eating pate for lunch then Mac and cheese with beef for dinner, while watching America edits! Great day

Andy's call came on Tuesday! Because of lacrosse every evening and wanting his brothers and sisters, and all his friends over, he wanted until Sunday.  It's been sitting on our mantle in an envelope.  When Andy was 8, and in cub scouts, he did a time capsule to open with he got his mission call.  He opened it at dinner, and it was so fun to look thru  all the pictures he put in there, and the other treasures that 8 year old Andy thought were important.

 Andy met with the Stake President, President Averett, tonight.  And then we were able to meet with them and Andy pushed the submit button.  EEKKK....a little bit of tears from mom, and excitement all  around.  The wait has been about 8-20 days....so now we wait.  So proud of Andy and his desire to serve and represent our Heavenly  Father.

Native Powers

Hey y’all, This week was great! Lots of things happened…unfortunately, I'm short on time.  This week in our group in Sakete we are finally having progression and seeing miracles happen! We may be able to put a whole family on date for baptism! Please pray for them!  It rained alot and I used my "native powers" to call the rain coming...freaked out one of the missionaries in our apartment  Bought some really cool paigne to make many things.  Had zone conference and it was super cool, inspiring and helped me to improve my charity and virtue so that's good! Had some amazing formations and very interactive, plus a good sandwich at the end...and I recieved a package from my parents with beef Jerky in it and it was delicious!  Okay, that's all this week!  Love you all.
