Dead Mouse, exchanges, hair done

Well, the title says pretty much my whole week...but for your wondering brains I will explain with a few more details 

Dead mouse
Turns out I am so good at killing mice I do it without even noticing! On Sunday I closed my desk drawer and heard a small squeek, me and my comp thought it was the wood scrapping so we ignored it and went on with our day...well come Wednesday I woke up and smelt something bad, thinking it was dirty clothes or bed sheets. I washed everything but the stink was worse...that evening I decided to investigate. Found it's stronger by my bed...then by my desk…then, I opened a drawer. Have you ever opened the oven and got hit in the face by the heat wave...it was like that but stench...then I saw it...a dead rotting mouse. Quickly cleaned and mouse was thrown outside for the stray cats and the stench was gone by morning! 

Exchanges
Had 1.5 echanges this week. One with Elder Aquino Valdez from the D.R. Super fun exchange with a funny man! He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and now French! And, the second was a .5 because it was with a sick elder...his comp needed to get out of the house so instead I stayed back and he went with my comp...very boring exchange.

Got my hair done. 
So, as im sure you all know by now my hair is different than the Togolease people. They love playing with it. 2 members decided to tease my hair and make little pigtails all over my head.  One member kept saying it's not good quality, then her sister says "If it’s not good then why are all the girls here getting their hair done to be like his!?” But, in the end I think my hair turned out pretty good! Wanted to keep it in but the maman didnt let me.

Andy's call came on Tuesday! Because of lacrosse every evening and wanting his brothers and sisters, and all his friends over, he wanted until Sunday.  It's been sitting on our mantle in an envelope.  When Andy was 8, and in cub scouts, he did a time capsule to open with he got his mission call.  He opened it at dinner, and it was so fun to look thru  all the pictures he put in there, and the other treasures that 8 year old Andy thought were important.

 Andy met with the Stake President, President Averett, tonight.  And then we were able to meet with them and Andy pushed the submit button.  EEKKK....a little bit of tears from mom, and excitement all  around.  The wait has been about 8-20 days....so now we wait.  So proud of Andy and his desire to serve and represent our Heavenly  Father.

Native Powers

Hey y’all, This week was great! Lots of things happened…unfortunately, I'm short on time.  This week in our group in Sakete we are finally having progression and seeing miracles happen! We may be able to put a whole family on date for baptism! Please pray for them!  It rained alot and I used my "native powers" to call the rain coming...freaked out one of the missionaries in our apartment  Bought some really cool paigne to make many things.  Had zone conference and it was super cool, inspiring and helped me to improve my charity and virtue so that's good! Had some amazing formations and very interactive, plus a good sandwich at the end...and I recieved a package from my parents with beef Jerky in it and it was delicious!  Okay, that's all this week!  Love you all.
