Lots to say

Hey y'all how are you?

This week was a long week, not work wise…it's been a week and a half since last pday because of Jesus' birthday.

So much has happened since last email so we will do days this time.

Tuesday, worked with Elder Tossou who is from Benin and he's here while he's visa waiting for his mission, he is awesome, he speaks the local languages here so a few lessons he was speaking ewe and I didn't understand a word...just like my training again! Me and Tossou had a great day and had some good lessons…I think.

Wednesday, today we had district council and it was Elder Tossous birthday! So, we took a cake and ate it all together to celebrate! My district is lit. After DC Ii went back to my old sector Sanguera and worked with Elder Schmidt from Canada for the afternoon. It was nice being back, saw some of my favorite members and my favorite recent converts there! We saw the bishop and I kid you not he screamed when he saw me and ran and gave me a MASSIVE hug, i love that man. I missed Sanguera.

Thursday, hung out at the office all day while waiting for my new comp to come. We waiting all day, it was fun to hangout with all my missionary buddies, we all told the crazy stories and laughed together. It’s always nice being with everyone. Eventually the missionaries coming from Benin got there and I got my comp, Elder Broberg from Provo, UT. Hes a dawg, and the new Kpalime elders, Elder Kastendeick and Elder Morin both from Canada who are opening Kpalime 1 again! And we got home very late...

Friday, the morning was a tour around Kpalime for the three new missionaries there, we visited some members and then the afternoon was my first time in my sector for the week😬 but we cooked and had some good lessons and walked to the middle of nowhere for the Malgro family to do their interviews for baptism! They all passed.

Saturday, we cooked and visted and called as many people as we could for church the next day. It was hard cause I did do some baptismal interviews again, and it took a while, but man do I love doing interviews, their testimonies are so simple but so powerful, its amazing.

Sunday, church was good! Had some friends come and a lot of the new members! On Saturday I told the branch presidency that we have a baptism but they all forgot and so the font wasn't clean or filled! So, all of second hour me, my comp, and a few members ran around connecting hoses TO SINKS to fill it and ended up filling buckets from a well to get enough water in time but when time came we had enough water and everything fell into place and we were able to baptize the whole family! What a miracle this family is, they have a big desire to get the gospel to their friends in the village! They even told me they have a friend that will be at their house on Friday and he's intrested! It was awesome being a part of this families journey, now they are looking forward to the temple next year!

Monday, zone confrence was lit! Lots of fun being with everyone and learned so much from president and his wife, they are awesome. After we had the best burger ever. Up in Kpalime we don't have good burgers so i may have been stealing peices from the sisters that didnt finish theirs 🤫 my district is so fun we are all so close and it makes everything so much better...although it is safe to say we are not artists..

Tuesday/Wednesday: normal work day and Christmas eve! We had district council and it was alot of fun we currently have 18 people in our district so it's alot of fun with everyone! Then, the afternoon we had a fun activity at the church for Chrimuh.

CHRIMUH!¡!¡
