Bye Bye, Compy

Hello everyone. Enjoy the read.

This week was good! We had a big exchange on Tuesday and I got to work with Elder Espinoza who is about to go home, so it was fun and a Miracle filled exchange finding so many adults that are interested and have payed the dote (big deal here). It was so fun to be with him and talk about how his past 2 years have been ,and how excited he is to get married.

We had district council and it was a lot of fun. The Modélisation was amazing and after wards, because there were 2 missionaries going home, I bought everyone degue to celebrate them finishing. It was a lot of fun to be able to hangout with everyone for a little and talk outside of district council. 

Saturdays in the mission we have something called super samedi (super Saturday) where we contact as many of our friends and new members  as possible and invite them all the church and all that. Well, this Saturday for us was full of baptismal interviews so we had no time to go do that, but with the little time we had in-between each interview we called as many as we could and even ran to see a few!  We did our best, and I prayed that God would see our efforts and magnify them. He did, we had a goal of getting 14 people to church and we were able to get 15! One being a random person who saw the sign and was curious! And, she liked it! It was awesome.

On Sunday I talked to the branch presidency here about opening some groups and we made a plan to open 3 new groups in 3 villages while I'm here! Should be a good time! 

Today for p-day i had to go drop my dear comp off at the office to go be an office elder in Benin, so we were in the office for a while talking to the other missionaries going home and then the long 2 and a half hour drive back here...my p-day was stolen from me! So, until Wednesday I'm on an exchange with Elder Tossou, from Benin, visa waiting, here in Kpalimé then going to work with Elder Schmidt from Canada in my favorite sector, Sanguera, Wednesday afternoon! Then, new comp on Thursday! Should be a good week! We are hoping for a big thing next Sunday I’ll let y'all know!

 I feel like I'm in the movie scene when Aladdin and Jasmine are riding the magic carpet seeing a whole new world with this transfer! Yo yo whats up everyone! Hope you are all had a fire week! Mine was pretty dang good! Togo is a wonderful country with so many tourist attractions, i invite you all to come and see this country for your self (not you mom, you cant come here while I'm here) This week we had Z.C. and it was awesome! Super spiritual, we learned about teaching heart to heart and truly connecting with everyone we talk too, whether teaching or getting food! I loved zone conference, plus after we got so delicious burgers for lunch. Zone conference has delicious food after, it is a nice little break from rice and noodles I usually have...i did find myself missing that rice and noodles tho... The next day after ZC I had an exchange with the zone leaders and it was a great exchange! Elder Wilden is a hard working man and I learned so much from him, he is from small town, Gunnison Utah, and turns out we hunted the same mountains, so of course we spent alot of time talking about that. It's Here!

Andy's call came on Tuesday! Because of lacrosse every evening and wanting his brothers and sisters, and all his friends over, he wanted until Sunday.  It's been sitting on our mantle in an envelope.  When Andy was 8, and in cub scouts, he did a time capsule to open with he got his mission call.  He opened it at dinner, and it was so fun to look thru  all the pictures he put in there, and the other treasures that 8 year old Andy thought were important.
