MOUNTAINS!!

Hello, good week. Let's do bullet points, shall we? 


• went to visit a member at their work and he ended up giving us banana plantains and we went and bougbt pork...great time, I love pork 
• celebrated Halloween by ordering some good food and carving watermelons (we were up till 1 am...oops) 
• played soccer and ate fufu and sauce d'arachide (celestial kingdom food) 
• got transfer calls...I'm leaving, 
I'll be going to the mountains! I'm transferred to Kpalime, back to togo! I was able to do a few exchanges up there and it is my heaven here in the mission. It is a legit answer to my prayers to be  going there again! Elder Barnes will be staying here to continue the work! He's gonna do great! 
• gave a parting testimony in church and a member started crying and tried to say goodbye after a bit then said "later" and walked away. I love this ward and am sad to be leaving 
• today we dropped Elder Palmer off to go back to his home of Tahiti and to surf and eat burgers..he was rubbing that in my face...

Thats about it! I have loved my time here in Porto-Novo and am sad to see it coming to an end! But, am excited to be going back to Togo and continuing this work!

 I feel like I'm in the movie scene when Aladdin and Jasmine are riding the magic carpet seeing a whole new world with this transfer! Yo yo whats up everyone! Hope you are all had a fire week! Mine was pretty dang good! Togo is a wonderful country with so many tourist attractions, i invite you all to come and see this country for your self (not you mom, you cant come here while I'm here) This week we had Z.C. and it was awesome! Super spiritual, we learned about teaching heart to heart and truly connecting with everyone we talk too, whether teaching or getting food! I loved zone conference, plus after we got so delicious burgers for lunch. Zone conference has delicious food after, it is a nice little break from rice and noodles I usually have...i did find myself missing that rice and noodles tho... The next day after ZC I had an exchange with the zone leaders and it was a great exchange! Elder Wilden is a hard working man and I learned so much from him, he is from small town, Gunnison Utah, and turns out we hunted the same mountains, so of course we spent alot of time talking about that. It's Here!

Andy's call came on Tuesday! Because of lacrosse every evening and wanting his brothers and sisters, and all his friends over, he wanted until Sunday.  It's been sitting on our mantle in an envelope.  When Andy was 8, and in cub scouts, he did a time capsule to open with he got his mission call.  He opened it at dinner, and it was so fun to look thru  all the pictures he put in there, and the other treasures that 8 year old Andy thought were important.
