Baptisms, Fish eater, Ram Head

Great week! Let me tell ya some of it 😁🧚‍♂️

- had an exchanges with the ZLs, they did our baptismal interviews all day...but me and Elder Wood had time to still do a few lessons together, great man, he is about to go home, crazy stuff!
- up in Sakete the member fed us some fire Nigerian food. I'm getting better at choking down fish y'all, still hate the taste but at least I don't throw up in my mouth! Rest of the meal was absolutely fire (rat hunting day is being planned)
- Sunday had our big group baptism and had 18 of our friends get baptized! It was such a good day! Running around trying to get enough clothes for everyone and having people switch clothes with others after their baptism, it was awesome! Spirit was so strong!!
- took a trip up to a village called "Avarankou" and visted a family that moved up there, fun times seeing them again
- today for p-day we went to Cotonou (did every week this transfer) but before we went to the gym with one of our now Recent Converts and worked out with him and man that was fun, I am not strong...but I will be 😈
- in Cotonou we went to "halls of arts" which is a bunch of little shops with random African things in it. One dude had a HUGE ram mask and I asked the price for fun and he said 90k cfa and I said ok and started walking away and he asked what price I'd pay and i said 15k cfa and he said “50k “ I said “I can’t, it's impossible to take home to America" he said "ok 40k" I said “I can’t it's impossible" he said "ok fine our secret and we can do 30k" i said "no it's still impossible to get in my suitcase" and he said "okay 25k best I can do"....i talked this dude down from 90k to 25k without trying...i almost bought it just because man cut off like 70k for me
- took a really nice nap today
- my bike broke...really badly...
- we have entered the last week of Elder Smiths week in Africa

This last week in second hour we talked about our role as members of the church. It is to help others receive the same blessings, both here on Earth and in the spirit world. We got a lot to do, ladies and gentlemen, but the good thing is it doesn't have to be anything big. We can just invite someone to an activity or something easy like that, share scriptures with people!

Love you all, miss you tons!

Love,
ELDER Miske
