Happy 4Th of July

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!! Hope y'all ate steaks and burgers! 


Bullet points (email me for stories) 

• Had a great family night with a 4 member families 

• Got a cool video of a voodoo god. It’s in my google photos.

• Looked up more about the voodoo gods. Turns out there's a snake named Dan who's holding the world up (shout out Dan for keeping us safe).  

• Ate some burgers for the fourth 

• Had to go to the doctors for Elder Smiths ear (blocked with wax) 

• Made some fire chicken sandwiches 

• Found some cool paigne

• Beat Elder Smith in chess  (im a genius) ( I didn't even know how)

• Watched Dispicable Me 3 in French

• Ate fish (big deal if ya know me)

• Got "The Magic Treehouse" books in French 

• Bought a ton of oranges from kids that have to sell everything on their heads before they can come home, child labor...and abuse...not fun 

• sweeped the house 

Spiritual thought! 
I read Alma 9: 12-13 
Good read it, ponder it, act on its teaching! 
REPENT AND BE SAVED! DON'T REPENT AND BE DESTROYED! 
We all have things to repent for...do it daily!

So, this week was great! We started French and found out we get out a week early! I have 2 more weeks, then I'm in Benin! 14 days! I'm so excited to go serve the people of my mission! We are leaving a week early because some of the mission presidents in Africa have a big conference the next week, so anyone who was suppose to leave that week is leaving earlier so their president is there to greet the new missionaries.   So, here's the weekly Lelekumo section: There's a new elder here from Korea (Elder Yoo) and Lelekumo is so curious about him and he asked him if he know a couple different Chinese actors and Elder Yoo goes “No, they are from China, I'm from Korea" and Lelekumo goes "ohhh OK" then goes quiet for a few minutes while we all talk.  Andy met with the Stake President, President Averett, tonight.  And then we were able to meet with them and Andy pushed the submit button.  EEKKK....a little bit of tears from mom, and excitement all  around.  The wait has been about 8-20 days....so now we wait.  So proud of Andy and his desire to serve and represent our Heavenly  Father.
