Busy Week

This week on bullet points (possible stories idk) 


- worked out booties off! 
- i was very tired 
- a dude asked us if he comes to church for the first time if he can be baptized right there 
- met some really cool people 
- it rained alot, still went out (look in album) 
- ate some spaghetti 
- I was able to send a new member reference to my cool cousin Max in Cote D’Ivore (shout out to Max in Cote D’Ivore)
- had interviews, they were lit! Got some wisdom from president and talked about the grand vision of porto novo...gonna be a good time! 
- someone told me I have nice skin and they want it... I told them I'm using it for the.moment 
- so everyone and their dog here knows Elder Tolman (my trainer) and they asked about him alot this week (shout out Elder Tolman) 
- burned my finger 
- had family night at President's house with other Elders, it was lit. Gained knowledge and ate sandwiches 
- ate some good doughnut balls, I'm gonna make them 
- had some fire attcheke 
- i started a race with a member to see who can read D&C faster...they may win... they read fast
- road bikes, a lot
- my phone updated...becoming more like an apple phone  
- FATHERS DAYYYY!! SHOUT OUT TO ALL FATHERS, but a special shoutout to my father, he's the coolest one. Taught me to fish and hunt and a lot of other cool things. I am very thankful for those skills and for him in my life. If I had a fly hook every time I thought "dang my dad is cool” I”d have more fly hooks than my dad has, (that's a lot of hooks). 

This last week I started listening to every Jeffrey R. Holland talk, one a day. I listened to “This Do in Remembrance of Me” such a good talk! Talks about the sacrament and how it shows the love of Christ for us. I recommend going and giving a listen! Ya won't regret it.  Have a great week! Love you all!

So, this week was great! We started French and found out we get out a week early! I have 2 more weeks, then I'm in Benin! 14 days! I'm so excited to go serve the people of my mission! We are leaving a week early because some of the mission presidents in Africa have a big conference the next week, so anyone who was suppose to leave that week is leaving earlier so their president is there to greet the new missionaries.   So, here's the weekly Lelekumo section: There's a new elder here from Korea (Elder Yoo) and Lelekumo is so curious about him and he asked him if he know a couple different Chinese actors and Elder Yoo goes “No, they are from China, I'm from Korea" and Lelekumo goes "ohhh OK" then goes quiet for a few minutes while we all talk.  Andy met with the Stake President, President Averett, tonight.  And then we were able to meet with them and Andy pushed the submit button.  EEKKK....a little bit of tears from mom, and excitement all  around.  The wait has been about 8-20 days....so now we wait.  So proud of Andy and his desire to serve and represent our Heavenly  Father.
