Power of Prayer

Fun week...let me tell ya about it😁😁

Tuesday: interviews with President, went really good, talking about Sanguera and the ward and all the good stuff! then normal day in sector after 

Wednesday: normal day...lowkey don't remember anything besides heat and contacting a house that looked straight out of America (the owners are from America) 

Thursday: today we visited our boy Kokou and asked what he thought of the Book of Mormon and man said " I read and prayed like you asked and I felt something say 'this book is very important and you need to read it more' so...what was that" so we explained that's the spirit and put him on date! Then, right after we taught Cynthia, the daughter of Jacob, and she said Tuesday she prayed to know if she needs to be baptized and she had a dream that night and she was holding a paper that said " YOU NEED TO BE BAPTIZED ON JUNE 22ND" so that's freaking awesome! Spirit was so strong for both of those experiences! June 22nd is also her birthday! 
i stubbed my toe really hard this day too...

Friday: found some friend's who are super ready. We had contacted this momma a few days ago and went back and her daughter was there and said "I read the brochure you gave my mom...its not like other churches...also why are there so many churches with the same book?" PERFECT QUESTION! so we explained the apostasy and gave them each a BOM and it was lit, that night she texted me and said "thanks for the book☺️" so i think she likes it! 

Saturday: visited every friend we could, invited everyone to church, bought an Ewe Bible…I cant read it...YET. Gave the BOM to some dudes trying to bash us, we’ll see if they read, and worked with a lit member for a little, pretty good busy day! 

Sunday: good church service! Had some inactive member's show up out of nowhere! Not alot of friends came but those that did I am very thankful for! After church we visited some people then had district call, weekly planning, and then mission call! Then ofc i called my mom for mother's day! Love all mothers. Y'all are cool


This last week in district council we talked about Charity/Love both for your friends AND your comp, we talked about how if you want to show people the blessings from this gospel ya gotta have Charity and Love in the companionship, really good council and something I think we can all work on, I struggle with showing love sometimes when the days are hot and long but, I remember this verse in the Book of Mormon 1 Néphi 19:9 that talks about Jesus Christ and how the world will do all these things to him but he will sufferth it because of his loving kindness for the children of men. This scripture helps me to think 'if all these things happened to Christ, the perfect son of God! then I can show love to the drunk man yelling at me to do weird stuff or to the people that want to use the Bible as a weapon' I challenge us all to work on showing Charity and Love to EVERYONE especially the ones its hard to, like that dude that cuts you off on the freeway 😉
