Fun week...let me tell ya about it😁😁 (sorry for the novel in advance)

Tuesday: had an exchange with Elder Raharimanatsoa from Madagascar. In the morning his bike tire was a little flat so we went to the dude down the street to pump it up and this man literally blew the bike tire up so most of the morning was waiting for them to fix that, then after lunch we had a few good rendezvous then a big storm came in and no one wanted to talk so we ran and we were stuck in the church building for a good 45 minutes before we decided to just send it and ride out bikes home in the rain, it was lit…I got in trouble for going no hands πŸ₯² Not a lot of rendezvous were done but, it was still a great exchange!

Wednesday: had annother exchange this time in my home town Sanguera and Elder Furiegh from Utah came here while Elder Grass went to Tokoin with Ellder Ntumba, me and Elder Furiegh had a great time! He goes home next transfer and is very trunky, we talked alot about home, life before the mission and life after,  what needs to change and some weird things going on in the mission. He told me he's gonna send photos of him with fish he catches and the deer he shoots...😐 but great exchange! I learned how to explain things simpler and in ways they can understand, we also stayed up till like 2:30 talking. haha great exchange!

Thursday: District council and then in the afternoon a storm came in and kinda sat us down for a sec but, we got back out and went and visited Jacob our baptismal candidate for this Sunday! Went over the questions with him and that man is ready!

Friday: Morning was normal with rendezvous and dripping sweat from my chin and hands as we walked...then the weather changed we went to work with some members and while we were walking a big storm came in and sat us down for a little bit but, it was fun talking with them and getting to know them more! Then, the rain kinda slowed down and we went and taught our lessons! We learned that having too many members will hurt the lesson...not help it, rough couple lessons but it's all good!

Saturay: Good day, nothing to exciting besides Jacob's interview! Man passed with flying colors, just needs to know the Book of Mormon as good as the Bible, but he will, I know he will. And, a random lady on the street told us she's coming to church tomorrow...we will see!

Sunday: Jacob's baptism!! It was so good. We had some new friends (RANDOM STREET LADY PULLED UP!) come for church and they stayed for Jacob's baptism and one showed a little interest on being baptized (more on that later). So, Jacob is paralyzed and so his baptism was a little different and took a few tries but with me and Elder Grass in the water and 3 members giving us different ways to try, we got that man dunked! Although it took a couple tries he was very happy with it and kept saying thank you and that the missionaries changed his life forever! Love that man! Okay, back to the new friend, we went to his house after church and talked about baptism and actually invited him, but then he brought up a point we are gonna have to work on a little...he does Voodoo, nothing to grave but we are gonna have to help him with that πŸ˜‚ we will see what happens!

All in all a great week! Super busy and seeing little miracles every day that just confirm the truthfulness of this church and that this is the work of God!

This last week I read in the Bible a little and read this verse in 1 Kings 22: 14
"And Micaiah said, As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak."
Micaiah has a great point and something I've been studying more, if we don't teach what the Lord is saying to teach...we aren't teaching, we are just relying on our own strength of what we have memorized.
Like D&C 84:85 says we don't need to think about what to say, we just need to treasure up the word of God and the Spirit will help us know what to say in the time it is needed.
If we rely on our own intellectual strength we aren't teaching of the Lord and basically failing. We need to rely on the spirit, we need to prepare to have the spirit help us and humble ourselves to the dust. If we aren't teaching by the spirit, conversion will never happen and we are pretty much wasting our time and the Lords time.

Anyways! Love you all! Stay safe! Have a great week, we have interviews this week so I'm pretty excited for those!
