Burger King Foot Lettuce

Fun week, let me tell ya about it 😁

Okay, so start this week off! I was in Kpalime for an exchange. Kpalime is the tourist attraction of Togo (mountains and waterfalls) so we saw a few whites on Monday, pretty weird tbh. Ii got some cool paigne and a nice rain storm came in and blocked the service and I couldn't talk to my family 😐

TUSDAY! Had an exchange with Elder Raharimanatsoa (yes, spelled that right) from Madagascar and he is so funny! He wants to teach Malagasy at Provo MTC so bad! Literally talked to me about it all day, love that man. We found some great people that could progress beautifully. He's a beast, and learning English so we were speaking a little English to each other and if a person was talking to long or he wanted to leave he'd say in a deep voice "we Gotta go!" and it made me laugh every time.

Wednesday, had a nice storm come in so we spent the afternoon shoveling the dirt around peoples houses to get water away and out of their houses.

Thursday was fun. Had district council, got degue after cause its the end of transfer, and then went out to sector and had a great day there.

Friday was good too. Taught lessons, visited people, jolly good time!

Saturday, the morning session of conference was at 4 pm which was weird, but we were gonna watch it at the church with members and friends and all that...well 4 pm came around and 4 people were there and the guy who had the tv wasn't so we watched it on my phone till the guy came! Great conference! and transfer calls tonight! Miller is leaving for Benin, and Elder Grass is coming on over to Togo to work with me! Gonna be such a party! Can't wait.

Sunday! Conference, a few rendezvous, went home for mission call, then conference again, fire day.

Spiritual thought is all of conference. I tried to choose one talk but there were so many that were great! Ya'll should go listen and study the talks. I liked Elder Hollands on Saturday morning session, y'all go listen to that one.
General conference is so cool guys! Our friends watching it for the first time got really into it and loved the talks! They got upset when we accidentally skipped ahead and made us go back to hear every word and every story the talks had.  It was amazing to see someone watch it for the first time and feel the talks talking to them personally! So cool!
And remember, with God, we have no reason to fear man, man will die, like grass, God will forever comfort us (2 Nephi 8:12)

Love you all!! Have a great week! Sleep good!
