This week was another good one! Had a member meal Friday and it was so fun! I also bought some sick paigne for Malena and Josh, I bet a momma a 100 francs it would rain and it did...then I made another bet with her son and lost that 100 francs…I'll get it back don't worry!

That's all I remember tbh, so here's a spiritual thought!

So, a good friend of mine on their mission said in an email a few weeks ago that if you listen to one conference talk a day you'd be finished right before this next confrence so I decided to do it, one a day every day. It's been lit! Learning a lot and its crazy how a lot of it stands out, stuff that didn't stand out the first time I watched it all in the MTC...

Anyways, one talk I listened to that I really liked was "The Joy of Our Redemption" by Kristin M. Yee.
She was talking about a painting she was working on that got ruined but when she tried her best to fix it, it looked better than before. Like how when we mess up but try our best to improve after, the Lord will help us to become even better! Repentance is such a beautiful thing ladies and gentlemen, I love teaching repentance to people out here and sharing my own personal experiences with it and my coming to know for myself that it is a blessing and joy filled! Repentance isn't an awful experience, yes it can be hard, yes it can be depressing, it's not easy at all but the end result, feeling clean and closer to Christ, is so worth it. Repentance is an every day thing, and sometimes it takes a while before feeling the joy from repenting...but it always comes. We will always be forgiven when we ask with a broken heart and a contrite spirit and truly change, not just say we changed but really change and turn yourself to Christ, and grab a hold of that iron rod tighter than ever before. When we sin, and we all sin, we feel that we are out of reach of the Saviors love and grace...but remember he suffered in Gethsemane, he felt all our pains, weakness, and sicknesses, he literally felt everything everyone will feel or has felt. Everyone who lived, is living, or yet to live, He felt their pains, He felt YOUR pains. you are never too far from the Savoir, cause He traveled to hell and back for you. I is literally impossible for you to be "too far" from the Savior. I strongly encourage you, if you feel it's needed, to repent, pray to God with a broken heart and ask for forgiveness and help to change. He will answer as you strive to improve and fix any wrong doings. If needed go to the bishop, or even the stake president, they aren't there to chastise you or so make you feel like crap. They will help you.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I know repentance works, I know that each of us can and will be forgiven of our sins, I know this for myself cause I have done it. It wasnt easy, going through it there were times I felt like i was getting punched in the gut, but I kept trying to improve and change myself to be better, and one day, I felt at peace, I felt the guilt leave, it was replaced by joy, true joy. (alma 36:20) Don't be afraid to repent, God gave us the gift of repentance, He wants us to use any chance we need. I have felt the joy repentance bring, the joy this gospel brings, that is why I am out here, to help others feel that joy in their lives.

This was not at all where I was gonna have this go when I started typing but, it's how it went.😂
